Peer Mentor and Teaching Assistant Positions
This year there will be two positions available for FLA alumni/ae to be a part of the 2009 Academy as Peer Mentors.
Peer Mentors would be expected to live at the Academy, eat meals with their language group, and participate in all Academy cultural events. In addition, Peer Mentors will take primary responsibility for running an online newspaper which will be an important part of this year's Academy.
This year there will also be two positions available for undergraduate language majors and minors to be a part of the 2009 Academy as Undergraduate Teaching Assistants.
Teaching Assistants are expected to live at the Academy, eat meals with their language group, and participate in all Academy cultural events. In addition, Teaching Assistants will participate in classroom activities and will be available to work one-on-one with students who need special help.
Applications are due by April 15. Applications that are mailed must be postmarked no later than April 15. Applicants will be notified as to the success of their application by May 1, 2009.
